I Concur

The other 2 reviewers are correct. This place is a complete wreck. It was fine (enough) because the neighbors are cool. But the truth is: the management made it impossible to stay. We continuously complained about the security issues of the building. We even heard that someone busted in to the storage area downstairs and either destroyed or stole everything in sight. Violence in the hallways by homeless sneaking around the building is a regular occurrence. And when you reach out to the company,... they ignore you or ridicule you for "not knowing what it's like to live in the city." Disgusting place managed by disgusting people.

The Truth

Like the other reviewer wrote, this place is a "you get what you pay for" kind of spot. It seems that everyone hates Met Mgmt and I do too. While living in the Quinault, everyone routinely gathered to smoke and talk outside. We were all in agreement that the company neglects the building and is almost impossible to reach for serious issues. When we got there, the on-site manager was absent even while SHOWING us the apartment. It appears he was all too happy to run out the door, only leaving... months later. The next on-site manager didn't last long, she was terrible and rude and only showed up to block entrances and exits as she grumpily moved a pile of garbage from one place to another. Do not live here unless you are out of options!

You get what you pay for...

This apartment building is pretty cheap in comparison to the rest of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The return for the rent savings is a building that is not well maintained and inconsistent professionalism by the apartment manager.
