Old, Musty, and Full of Issues

This apartment complex is a cooperative meaning each unit is leased by a different manager. However, there's an old man named Tom who insists he owns the building (which, by the way, is at least 150 years old) and polices everything to an annoying degree. The hallways smell musty because this building is entirely decrepit, and I have never seen a cleaning company come through to even vacuum the carpets. The walls are extremely thin so we would get complaints of our footsteps sounding through the... floor when we're walking quietly or we'd be able to hear the people living under us at 1am. There was an ant issue on the top floors that was never taken care of and there are so many cracks in the walls or floorboards that pests can come through as they please. The heaters are basically useless so it's freezing in the wintertime, and there's no air circulation except a huge window on each floor so it's extremely hot in the warmer months. Also, the outlets would sometimes shoot sparks out or not work at all. Overall, do not live here unless you hate yourself.
