Absolutely Terrible
Do NOT move here. So many reasons listed below:
Management is absolutely horrendous. Honestly, they're crooks. I can speak to my experience of communicating with Ryan Roeter of Redside Partners about several issues with my heat, electricity, etc. and it was very clear he had no intention of actually being helpful. It's been two MONTHS since I gave written notice of not having sufficient heat at a temperature that's "fit to live" by law. Landlords are required by law to fix a heat issue within... 24 hours. Some days it's as low as 48 degrees F, usually it's around 55-60, and the minimum requirement from Sept to June is 68. I have gotten sick from being so cold in my own home. (I'm referring to the street level lofted unit.) ALSO, I mentioned dogs barking... they're still barking months later and management hasn't taken care of it. These people do not care at all about fixing any issues. I've seen it time and time again here.
The units in general are almost impossibly small (all except the street level loft units, which still have a really weird layout.) The building itself is SO cheaply made. Walls are paper thin...like you can hear everyone's conversations and dogs barking from 3 floors up, pipes and wires exposed in walls and ceilings (lower units), electricity is set to a limit that isn't even livable (meaning you can't use more than a few appliances at a time or it blows the entire circuit), heater wasn't properly placed in my unit so I've been freezing in the colder months, closet hardware is so cheaply made it completely collapsed, water fixtures and tubing were installed backwards, shelving was installed wrong and is unstable, blinds break every other month, awkward layouts and corners jetting out, etc. Either the builders weren't thinking or ownership intentionally cut corners to save costs.
I've lived here for a year and in that time I've watched the rate at which residents come and quickly leave. No one wants to stay here.
