Hawks Ridge has been Wonderful and it's my home!

Hawks Ridge is the place I've happily called home for five years now. It's got everything you'd want and then some. There's secure underground parking that's super handy, especially during the snowy winters. The units are big and they even come with in-unit washers and dryers which is a major convenience. It's right off I43 and I90 making commuting a breeze. But the best part is the country setting. It's so peaceful and quiet. They've got a nice clubhouse, a fitness center, and a pool for those... hot summer days. The maintenance guys are quick and helpful and the management company always takes care of any questions or issues I have had. It's also pet-friendly with lots of nice people walking their dogs. Yeah, Hawks Ridge is where I've enjoyed five wonderful years and look forward to more.

Worst place I’ve lived

They will tow your car at any chance they get. They recently changed the parking to require you to pay to park in front of your own complex. So if you park there for more than 5 minutes they will call you about it going to be towed. It snowed? Your getting towed, if you don’t move it you will get less than an hours notice. So far they have called my roomate about my car going to get towed and not myself so they will give you no update. Have a second car that doesn’t run? Talk to someone that is... willing to let you use their under spot for a bit as you are getting it up and running? They will ticket and tow you. This place is absolute garbage and you should never live here.

All they care about is to get your money

To echo other reviews about management, it is true. They changed management every year and it progressively got worse. The internet package was downgraded in 2019-20 for the worse and it was a complete disaster for a few months. The internet is very restrictive so many services like the Google Home suite won't run on it. At the moment management is horrible. Nothing gets done through the property manager, she is very incompetent. The only time you hear from them is if they want to charge you for... something, even if it's not your fault. I honestly think all they care about here is to get as much money from you so that they can build more apartments. There's really no benefits of being a resident here given that the rent is high compared to what you get in the area. Before you're stuck with a lease, I would strongly advise to shop around elsewhere. I would pay a higher rent to have property managers who treat residents with more compassion and respect. I hope other residents will speak up about this so that something can be changed because this used to be a decent place to live. What a shame.

I feel special here.

I feel very special here and not just another tenant who lives in unit xyz. This place if very busy but well maintained. Maintenance is always working on something as I see their golf carts zipping by everyday and sometimes each hour. The company recently had a maintenance appreciation day which I thought was very nice for their maintenance staff. The maintenance staff is also very careful with wearing masks upon request. You can tell they care about me and the other residents that live here... .
