Do not rent from them!!!

I move in September 2021. I did not see the place that was my fault but was because of Covid. I went and bought some furniture from Ashley furniture bcausw I did not have any of my own and at the time was taking months to be delivered due to shortages and not enough workers and material delays. Low and behold it didn’t fit. I need up being forced to sign a new lease in April when the market was so bad and only had 7 days to decide. I was later told I could request a lower unit so I could have my... couch fit. I was told I would have to pay $500 to break my current unit and then would have to put another $500 deposit down on the new unit if plus the application fee. They didn’t want to help me so I went looking for a new place and found what I was looking for with a new property management. I was told I would have to put in for a 60 day notice and pay the $500 to break the lease. After leaving and paying for capers to be cleaned and spending 6 hours cleaning the unit to perfect condition, my account was placed to full Septembers rent when the new tenant was moving in sept 6th. How can I pay a full months rent when the new person has to pay some rent. You getting double rent!? If the Lear says I am only liable until the new person moves in how does that cover all of September. I’m confused?? These people are crooked. After I paid the 500$ to get out and all of July and august for the 60 days it’s not my fault you claimed you needed to do some maintenance so that the new person couldn’t move in until September 6th. That’s not my faults I was out Aug 15th. So do not rent from them. They only want your money and don’t care about their tenants.

Nice, but expensive

My fiancé and I have lived here for about a year and a half. The apartments are nice and the location is excellent. Throughout our time here our rent has increased $54 per month and nothing in the apartment has been updated. The only new appliance in the apartment is the air conditioner, which did not work when we first moved in. The stove-top was also damaged when we moved in. The leases here are typically 8-9 months long. Some people might see this as a positive thing, but they drastically... increase your rent when you decide to renew your lease. We will now be living elsewhere due to the large increase in the cost of rent.

Property Manager at Waterford Heights responded to this review

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review Waterford Heights. Happy to hear you think the apartments are nice…we do too! The last time rent was modified at Waterford Heights was in January 2017, and the average adjustment was $25. Prior to... that it had been several years since rent was touched. I am sorry if you were inconvenienced by the adjustment. With the clubhouse/fitness center, garage or underground parking included and beautiful water views, we think the rent is a great value, especially in the Green Bay west-side location! I cannot speak to any damage that may have been present when you moved in, or whether or not it was minor wear and tear, as you have not given your name or apartment number. Regarding updates in the apartment, you would have had the opportunity to view the apartment before deciding to apply for it, so I do not know what “updates” you may be referring to or why they would have been done. When Lexington Management prepares apartments for new renters, everything is professionally cleaned and in excellent condition. If your air conditioner wasn’t working, there would be no way for me to verify this or view the maintenance order without further information. Again, thank you for your comments and we wish you much success in your new home.

Rude and Poor Customer Service

I have lived in Waterford Heights for a year and a half. When I moved in I noticed that the closet door/mirror was cracked and notified the building managers four times through out my stay here. Management also came to my apartment twice for their annual inspection. To this day no one came to fix or replace the door/mirror.

My garbage disposal also broke during my stay. After multiple calls going back and forth it took them over three weeks to send maintenance and change the disposal.

I...
finally submitted my move out notice and they started to show my apartment to prospective renters, which I have no problem with. However, out of respect for the current tenants they should at least check if a time is convenient for the current tenant to have strangers in their private living space. I called the building manager, Linda, and tried to delay a showing to a later hour. She told me that legally she is only obligated to place a notice at my door and not confirm whether I received the notice and agree with the time. If they are going to do business based on the lowest requirements, the law, and throw customer service to the wind then I have nothings to say to them. I do however have something to say to prospective tenants on the services that they will receive and the lack of respect they will have for their privacy.

Property Manager at Waterford Heights responded to this review

Dear Ting,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out! I was able to go through your file, and I noticed that there is no move-in inspection report. (You would have been given one when you moved in, and it would have been due back within 7 days of...
your move-in) Without a move-in inspection report, any damage or repairs to the apartment would be listed on your move-out final walk through report and charged accordingly. When the site manager learned of your garbage disposal, she went to your apartment the same day and fixed it for you. She mentioned that you told her that it had taken you some time to contact us about it being broken, but not that it took us 3 weeks to reply to you. It seems there is a bit of confusion there but I assure you that the manager fixed your problem the same day it was reported.
In regards to the showings scheduled for your apartment, I understand that moving can be a difficult time in one’s life at that unwelcomed disruptions can be hard….but we are giving you proper notice before entering your apartment. I am sorry if these days or times are inconvenient for you. We do our best to schedule during appropriate times.
We wish you all the best in your new home!
Sincerely,
Lexington Management LLC

Water

These apartments are beautiful, especially the loft apartments. Such an open concept. While I'm gettin ready upstairs, I can listen to my music from downstairs and even play a game of beer pong from above ;)

waterfront relaxation.

This place is great to move to if you have a small family or looking for some piece and quiet outside the city limits. The apartments come with a one car garage, public workout facility, and a beautiful view of their pond that the apartments circle around. The highway is close by the property as well as a tennis court, soccer field, grocery store and a varied of restaurants(for those of us that can't cook).
