The location downtown is perfect, and I love the view of Bascom, State Street, the Capital and the lake!! Staff is very helpful and always willing to answer my questions.

Resident Assitants Who Care

My experience has been amazing at the hub since I’ve moved in. While there might be some clunks here and there with appliances, maintenance and the RAs have always been quick to help and solve my problems—it just takes communication. Mitch specifically had been such a sigh of relief, he is always ready to help residents even if he is on call late at night. He is extremely dependable and has helped me and many other friends find great units tailored to our taste, you’re lucky if he picks up the... phone!

Do Not Live Here

If you’re looking for a luxury building in Madison with amenities, DO NOT live here. The Hub advertises a rooftop pool, hot tubs, a spa, grills, etc.; however, none of these amenities are open (and when they are open, they’re completely run down). When I asked the staff if the pool was safe for swimming, they gave me the green light. Unfortunately, the only thing that was green is the swamp-like algae floating in the water. While they eventually cleaned the pool (after numerous complaints), as... of June 28th, none of the hot tubs work.

The management is incredibly lazy, and they pin the blame on third parties (such as New Wave Pools), which supposedly maintains these amenities. I lived here when the building first opened, and it was easily the nicest apartment in Madison. It’s unfortunate to see such a prime spot go downhill, but until the building hires competent management, it will only get worse.

If you’re considering living at the Hub, live at the James or Lucky instead.
