Terrible living situation
Not only does management do a poor job of responding/messing up your ledger but the overall set up is poor. I lived in the first floor and couldn’t even open my window due to the strong stench of animal urine. In the lease it has a “do not allow pets to urine outside of windows/entry points” but they do not reinforce it and it seems none of the pet owners cared to walk their dogs not in front of windows/patios. I had neighbors who were loud at all hours of the day/night, including one family who... used the hallway as a playground for their child. The kid would literally be crying so they’d bring it to the hallway to walk and cry down the hall so the whole wing got to enjoy that. Don’t even get me started on the trash situation either. Other large apartment complexes in the Middleton area clean out their trash bins to discourage smell and insect growth, brown ridge does not. Taking your trash out in the summer is like running in and out of a smelly, hot, fly trap. If your decide to live her good luck to you but i was extremely disappointed upon moving in and extremely excited to leave. (Sidenote for a horror story, I got approval from management to have a couch shipped to the property and placed in my unit about 4 days before I moved in. I confirmed by looking through the unit that the couch was delivered then when I moved in 4 days later it magically disappeared. IMO I think one of their maintenance people stole it as management said “only maintenance would have went in to ensure the unit was ready.” So my introduction to the property was having 400$ stolen from me essentially.) Good luck if you decide to live here but I suggest you keep looking!
