Only Took One Call

My wife and I were looking for a new 2 bedroom to call our home, thought I’d give Hacienda a shot. Not only do they hardly answer their phone, they answer in the most unprofessional way I could imagine. Actual prices don’t match the ones shown online either so watch for that. All in all I would stay away because the amount of options nearby.

Priced too high for what you can get elsewhere.

After one year rent was increased 225 dollars. When asked they said it was required for rent control. On the city of Camarillo website it says there isn't rent control. Old appliances and no central heating. On the lower end of quality of apartments and the price is a lot higher than comparable ones. For the same price could get a nice condo.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. We have and continue to replace appliances with gorgeous new appliances. Additionally we are updating exteriors and landscaping. Come take a look! We have lower priced units that are not yet fully remodeled and... lovely remodeled units. Our location is excellent and we have attentive, professional onsite management.

We have very competitive, if not the most affordable pricing, even after the rent increase last year to bring low rents closer to market rent. Our rates stay competitive and inline with comparable properties!

Across the Apartment rental scene in Ventura County, rents have been increasing these last two years, quickly, and we simply have kept up with rates. We absolutely value our tenants, and hope that you take the time to look at an updated model, which again is at or lower priced than our competitors and remember we cover more utilities than most Apartment and condo rentals in the area.

There is no rent control for our units, and all of our employees know there is no rent control for our units. It must have been a misunderstanding. This would not have been stated to any tenant, existing or potential.

I sincerely hope you come take a look, we would love to see you.

That Neighborhood Feeling

These apartments are great if you want very little personal space, but that lack of space and sound barriers can help you get to know the neighbors. There are plenty of trees to provide plenty of shade - which is great for those hot summer days when the apartment becomes a heat trap. However, there is maintenance on-call and it truly is nice to know the neighbors, even with their obnoxious screaming children who bang all of their toys on the stairs.

Glad you like it here!! We love our tenants here at Hacienda, and it is a nice feeling to know your neighbors! Apartment living is conducive to getting to know people. We also have a nice grass area, and a great pool and spa area for socializing. ... Every unit has a front deck or balcony and our tenants do use them for enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea or simply the great weather.

We do have quiet hours, and if there are neighbor complaints brought to the attention of the management, we do address them. Generally it is a peaceful and quiet community.
