Shower Water Pressure
Just moved into the building and as far as the building is concerned - I’m impressed. The building itself is beautiful with excellent amenities (some nearing final construction). A big 5 stars for Rob and the leasing team—they’ve been professional and incredibly helpful, even as they navigate the natural kinks of a new building/processes.
That said, one issue really stands out and weighs heavily on the overall review: the low shower water pressure. Unfortunately, it’s not just low—it’s... literally a trickle. To put it into perspective, I’ve experienced better water pressure in remote areas of developing countries. While this might seem like a small detail, it’s not when the building is being positioned as the best in the city. For me a great shower is key to start the day right... and this issue is a major frustration.
I’ve submitted feedback and hope it’s resolved soon.... However, if it remains unresolved, it raises serious concerns about whether I made the right choice....

We sincerely apol ogize for the frustration you're experiencing with the shower water pressure. We understand how important a good shower is to start your day right. The shower heads in our building are designed to be low-flow (1.5 GPM) to comply with the green building code and to help us achieve the LEED certification we are aiming for. This means that the restrictors in the shower heads, which are necessary for this compliance, can result in lower water pressure than you might be accustomed to.
Please rest assured that our construction team is conducting a full inspection to ensure that the 1.5 GPM standard is being met consistently throughout the building. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to making your experience at Alloy as comfortable as possible.
