About Bellevue Towers Apartments

This is an amazing Art Deco apartment building built in 1925 that has character that will take your breath away! Hardwood floors, high ceilings, lots of large casement windows, built-in cabinets in most dining areas, original 1920’s Art Deco... bathroom tile, and a Roof Garden shared by the community!

The building has 24 units on 6 floors. Each floor has 4 apartments – every one is a corner apartment with plenty of windows and most with amazing views of Lake Merritt, the Oakland hills, and downtown. There are 17 one-bedroom apartments that range from 940-976 square feet, 6 two-bedroom apartments that are 990 square feet and 1 Studio which is 575 square feet.

This apartment building is in the Adams Point neighborhood in Oakland. This location has a walk score of 96 out of 100 – it is a Walker’s Paradise so most errands can be accomplished on foot or by bike. There are many fabulous eateries in easy walking distance. Used to live here, loved it.

I lived here from late 2015 to early 2017, and LOVED it. Pros'- spacious apartments with incredibly well maintained period details, old school bath tubs , architecture, and amenities within the apartments themselves. Definitely a space for those who like space and light yet are seeking an urban oasis. Cons. Laundry too limited and on the roof, would have preferred in unit or more machines; elevator was a gorgeous antique but frequently broke. Occasionally high heating bills in winter,... which individual tenants could not control. If space, light, and high attention to truly gorgeous period detail are at the top of your list, and you can roll with the rest, I'd say do it. .
