Unprofessional!

I had an appointment and the manager I was texting was no longer replying. I was patient and waited over 30 mins waiting for her. Then when finally greeted it wasn’t the person I was texting. She was really nice and made me feel comfortable. We viewed the apartment and we liked it so we were asking questions about the deposit and the qualifications for the first month free. She didn’t give me or my boyfriend any direct answer, she told us she wasn’t sure and that she would talk and see with the... manager’s daughter. We even exchanged numbers so she can keep me updated. Few days pass and I get a text from the manager’s daughter( the original girl I was texting) and she asks me if I would like to move forward with the apartment. I was confused because I still had questions. So I told her I would like to move forward with the apartment if the first month was free. She then repeatedly told me that the girl what showed me the apartment “told me this” and “ told me that.”When she didn’t. And then said she would have to charge me first, last and deposit due to me being payed in cash. It was just unprofessional and a waste of time. When i first texted her about the apartment I sent a whole paragraph explaining my situation and how I get payed (my bf gets payed direct deposit weekly) and how I deposit my pay every week to the bank so I have statements. Honestly just a bad experience. Grown people playing the he said, she said game. Just sad.
