You Will Be Counting Down To Your Lease's End
Nothing could convince me to live here again. Unfortunately, I have been looking forward to leaving since before I even finished unpacking.
You need to know that our mail has been stolen so many times, for over a year, to the point that the Post Master of San Bruno has literally revoked our building's right to have USPS mail delivered. Frustrated residents have requested updates to protect our mail room to prevent the thefts, but this multi-billion dollar company won't even install a camera.... They are not offering to pay the ~$200 yearly cost of a P.O. box.
It is also important you know that the management requests residents "acknowledge that [they] are not an enforcement or investigation agency, and do not advertise security in our community" (per 2022 General Manager), so when your car is broken into and emptied inside the gated garage, they will do nothing. In fact, as per a report on our resident forums, they'll even charge you for a new parking garage fob to replace the one stolen from you. This same policy is what has led to our unapologetic loss of mail service.
EVERY other complaint you see online is true. It's dirty, loud, and unsafe. The management is friendly until you've signed. The renovations are cheap and the "smart" tech installations malfunction frequently. The only redeeming factor at this complex is the maintenance team, which is always prompt, kind, and understanding.
My advice is do not walk, RUN from ALL Equity Residential owned properties.
