I've now spent a year living at the Retreat. I live in an apartment with a laundry machine of my own. It simplifies matters. When I have any worries, the management takes care of them right away. It's a fantastic area to live.

Overall my resident experience has been good. Every staff member has been friendly and work orders have been completed in a timely manner. I understand that prices do go up each year, but for the price it would be nice to have the landscaping in the unit hallways and in front of unit entrances to be improved. I have been here for over one year and these areas aren’t tended to or maintained. Plants are dead and it is basically areas of dirt. It would be nice if these areas matched the other... improvements that have been made over the past several months.

I moved into that property six years ago and have been very happy with the nature of the management and staff. It’s nice to see all of the improvements with my property and the adjacent property acquired by the new ownership. It looks like they’re very forthcoming with improving both properties and making them appear and function the best they possibly can.

the 1st year living here was okay considering we didn't have a lot of maintenance issues. after resigning the lease there was a lot of things falling apart and leaks that went ignored or handled in a very untimely matter by the maintenance department. I made a work order in July about a leak coming into my living room via window frame being eaten away by mold its now November and nothing has been done I had to contact the city of Thousand Oaks and still no fixes have been made.
