HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
1. Security and Safety Issues
Garage Security:
The parking garage lacks essential security measures, including functioning cameras and secure access. The main gate has been broken for over two months. At least 10 vehicles have been stolen and even more have been broken into.
Unrestricted Access to Residential Areas:
Doors leading from the parking garage to residential hallways and stairwells are accessible to anyone, creating a significant safety risk, particularly for women and vulnerable... residents.
Unauthorized Access to Units:
Several residents have reported unauthorized access to their units by Launch staff and/or others using staff key cards, which were verified through Latch app records. Such actions constitute a serious violation of tenant privacy.
2. Amenity Issues
Pool, Hot Tub, and Gym:
These amenities remain frequently in disrepair, unclean, unsanitary, and inaccessible, despite being part of our lease agreement - this includes issues with the temperatures being too hot (gym) or too cold (pool/hot tub).
3. Accessibility Concerns
Garbage and Mail Rooms:
The garbage and mail rooms are frequently obstructed, making them inaccessible to residents with disabilities. Pathways are cluttered, garbage chutes are blocked, and packages are unreachable, posing a barrier to full use and access of these spaces. Additionally, the cleanliness due to other tenants continues to be an issue without proper signage or instructions for how to share the space. Multiple tenants have made requests and provided solutions/ideas.
4. Communication
Management response to concerns:
Many tenants have reported issues that have gone ignored or unresolved. Additionally, management's response has either been rude or unhelpful. For example, in response to a resident's car being stolen from the resident portion of the garage (which requires a monthly fee), management replied "It's the bay area, you should expect it". Another resident's car was towed from the garage, despite paying for a spot and having a parking permit visibly displayed. When they questioned management, management replied "I didn't tow the car, its not my problem."
5. Cleanliness and Maintenance of Pet Areas
Dog Run and Wash Station:
The dog run remains unsanitary, with pet waste left uncollected for extended periods, leading to health hazards such as a flea infestation. The dog wash station is similarly neglected and unclean, putting both tenants and animals at risk.
