no longer worth the price
I’ve lived here for 3 years now and it’s clear the company has made budget cuts despite raising rents to insane prices. The property used to be well kept by a lovely cleaning crew and a team of landscapers, even the maintenance workers used to pressure wash the drive way on a weekly basis. All of that is gone, one guy cleans and he spends most of his time on the phone aimlessly walking around the property… the maintenance guy is nice but must be overworked between properties because he doesn’t... spend much time on property or if he does he’s not out doing the extras the previous guys did. The hallways are lined with dog hair, matted with dog urine (including the elevator) and have only been cleaned once in the 3 years I’ve been here.
BBQ’s and fire pits are always filthy and or broken…
Just not worth the price anymore, it’s fine if cleanliness doesn’t matter to you though.

Unsafe. Not worth the price
I have lived here for 7 years. I’ve been reluctant to move because of the location but it is extremely over priced for what you get. It’s gone downhill after the pandemic. The pool and gym are always filthy. There’s always homeless drug addicts in the alley way and they do get on property. I have had repeated issues with safety here. There’s been at least a dozen instances of my unit or my car being vandalized or me experiencing some form of harassment. The property has been beyond unhelpful.... They will not install surveillance in the halls or garage to protect residents and their property but will do it in common areas to protect their own interests. This is a common feeling amongst those that live here. Know that you will not have any of your concerns addressed in a productive way ever. I’ve asked to be contacted by a supervisor those requests were ignored. I will likely move into one of the other local less high complexes because if I’m going to feel this unsafe and have this much stress and difficulty living somewhere I’d rather not be paying these inflated prices. It’s the 3rd most expensive property in the city and feels as unsafe as the cheapest. I’d strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. You won’t get your moneys worth here.

Great Location and Amazing Management
Blue Sol is a gem right in downtown costa mesa, but it's not just the location that makes this place great, it's the people that manage the building. Lucia and Chandy are hands down some of the best property managers I've had, and they really do care about all of their residents. There's a lot of great places to live but having the extra care from Lucia and Chandy make Blue Sol worth it.

I love living here! The courtyard is beautiful, the parking is extremely convenient and easy, and the management is so friendly and helpful!

Absolutely recommend anyone to live here at Blue Sol. The building is peaceful and the apartment homes are spacious with privacy throughout - Im very happy here and hope to renew my lease when the time comes.
