noisy and poorly built
a lot of problems here that i don't have the space to mention so i'll just go over the biggest ones. the kids here shout, scream, cry, and make all sorts of other noise and damages all day. from the minute you wake up they will be playing right outside your window, climbing patios and trees, screeching at the top of their lungs - and none of their parents stop them - even when you tell them to stop running up and down your stairs because the apartments are so poorly built and thin and you can... hear everything. i complained to both the old and new managers many times and they all told me it is not an issue, it's pretty quiet when they walk around, and no one else complained so they don't believe me and think i'm being too sensitive - even when i showed them videos and pictures of the noise and them digging dirt, pulling out the sprinkler, drawing on apartment walls, screaming and throwing things right outside my door, etc.
There is also a large pest problem here - the night I moved in, I started to hear cockroaches and then I saw them crawl out of the wall. Over the next few days, I caught over 30. I took pictures and video and told the manager and she told me no one has ever complained about cockroaches before and asked me if I'm sure I wasn't the one who brought in the bugs in my bags and boxes... Then, I noticed the water coming out the kitchen and bathroom faucets is yellow, but they said don't worry, it's safe to drink, even though drinking the water after filtering with a Brita still made us sick and vomit. They will do anything but admit/try to improve the quality of life here and will gaslight tenants by saying they are exaggerating or sensitive. This is THE worst apartment I've ever lived at and it has greatly affected our mental health. I'm just going to count down the days until my lease ends.
