Disappointed "LUXURY" Apartments
Disappointed by Reality vs. Expectations The Max on Jefferson LUXURY Apartments
We moved into The Max on Jefferson with high expectations enticed by the promise of luxury living and top-tier amenities. Unfortunately our experience has fallen short. While the apartment itself is pleasant and the grounds are beautiful the overall experience does not reflect the LUXURY label. The flooring in the units is VERY THIN and we can hear children running, adults walking/conversations TV noise and music.... While some noise is to be expected in any community, we didn’t anticipate this level of sound transmission in a so called high-end building. We highly recommend choosing a top-floor unit, as the noise level in lower units is disappointing for a complex marketed as LUXURY. As for the amenities, they are UNDER whelming. The pool which is advertised as heated, remains cold. The clubhouse has limited hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm is not accessible for most residents, as many of us are working during those times. Extending the hours until at least 7pm would allow residents to fully enjoy the space.
In terms of management we expected more proactive involvement from the Property Manager. The manager should take time to walk the grounds/monitor the progress, especially given that the complex is still new. Addressing issues and conducting regular inspections seem to be lacking and more effective oversight would improve the overall experience C-. Additionally, the Property Manager's communication has been unclear and often inconsistent. We frequently receive conflicting information, which can be frustrating. However, the rest of the management team Orlando, Cameron, Alex, AJ, and Superintendent Kurt have been exceptional, providing great support and being attentive A++.
Overall, while The Max on Jefferson is a decent place to live, it doesn’t provide the luxury experience that was promised. The apartment itself is nice but the amenities and communication are lacking. We understand that adjustments take time, and we’re hopeful things will improve. However, paying a premium for a luxury experience that falls short is disappointing. The grounds/location are lovely but had we known how far the reality is from the marketing, we would have considered other newly built apartments in Murrieta. With only 164 units, we expected more from this complex something beyond a typical apartment community. If you’re seeking a true luxury living experience, this might not be the right choice.
