My experience living here this year has been horrible. My apartment is facing Telegraph Ave and it’s very loud and violent. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday there are gunshots, people being murdered, people being robbed, fighting, sideshows, crashing cars, loud people screaming and blasting music all night until 3am. Noise cancellation items do not help. When the residents above me talk, walk, use any appliances including the toilet I can hear. Parking is horrible the price for it is not... worth it. When you find a park you can’t get out or into your car and now I have scratches and dents. When you can’t find parking you are forced to walk 4 blocks in a bad neighborhood to see if it is parking in other lots. People allow their dogs to pee on the elevator floor and stairway floor. My family was not able to enjoy the pool area due to the crazy adult parties. Resident blowing smoke in my kids face, cursing, loud talking and drinking alcohol while inside the jacuzzi and pool.

I love the location of the uptown, very close to the freeway, it makes it so easy to get to work and other stores near Emeryville, and Berkeley.
