Village at Tehachapi Apartamentos

As an outsider looking in, I have observed many of their maintenance problems inside and outside of the apartments. Most of the saftey sidewalk lights are non functioning, their trash areas are littered with trash that only gets attended to around state inspection time. Many of the apartments have had water leak issues and the maintenance comes in and temporarily fixes the leak then never returns to do the necessary drywall repairs after the damage from the leaks. They have funding from the... state to replace appliances and water heaters but tend to pull old and used appliances and water heaters from other vacant units and call that a repair. Their parking for residents is supposed to be assigned but residents consistently and constantly have to argue with each other or outsiders that don't belong in the parking spots. There are constant vehicle break ins causing severe damage to people's vehicles and property stolen from the vehicles. There are constant arrests of drug users that have residence in the complex. The playground for the resident children have unsafe conditions on it and is unkempt. The resident services/amenities do not even exist. The laundry facilities are dirty and and malfunctioning. The mail box room is constantly compromised by thieves. The Beachfront Property Management Company has clearly put these apartments in a worse standing than any prior to it. The onsite manager and maintenance are never available in the offices, which is against California States policy of the required onsite management and maintenance. Management has also in the past consistently threatened tenants with termination for minuscule reasons. I write this merely to forewarn any and all future individuals looking to move into or rent from The Village at Tehachapi of the problems with this property and its choice of a management company. The oven didn't work for almost a year and the manager barely sent someone to fix it after giving a 30-day notice, even though the issue was first brought up when moving in. Management change might have played a role in this. Overall, the area is nice. Very well kept landscaping, good rental rates, and close access to schools and shopping. Not the worst place to rent an apartment. Certainly the best apartments to rent in Tehachapi hands down.

The apartment is very nice, it is a two bedroom two bath on the second floor. The grounds are well maintained. It is a quite area, it is not far from the interstate. You have nice mountain views too.
