Horrible management! Dirty apartments! Avoid!
I am a new resident at Waterford at Southlands, less than a month. They require residents to do a full move in checklist. I do not have a problem with this other than what the resident is doing is basically an inspection of what has been done to the apartment before move on, because the management can't be bothered. I asked how specific I needed to be and I was told very specific. Patchwork painting was done. Manager informed me that they paid a third party contractor to do a full painting of... apartment. It was never checked. The garage has black handprints, scrapes, gouges, doesn't even appear to have been swept. The entrance to front was filthy. I had to sweep and even scrub the front door as it was filthy. Baseboards were filthy, had to clean those also. Blinds in bedroom are not working properly, will not even close, the ones in living room are almost as bad. The dryer makes so much noise when it gets heated up. They did fix the blinds on patio door, they were taped together, and a handle on a kitchen cabinet that was super glued. I filled out check list noting these things, have sent emails, submitted work orders through portal, still not done. It's a shame. The complex is in a great location, I love all the green space. The management is unresponsive, it is apparent they don't care about tenants are all. Do not move here or to any Greystar property. This is definitely the worse experience I have had with any property. Don't be fooled by the pictures of a two car garage if the cars are shown parked one behind the other, misrepresentation. The prices at this community would be fair, even though they are higher than anything in the area, if services were provided. Don't expect anything from this management. Have videos of dryer and blinds, but can't be posted here. All of these have been sent to management. Horrible!
