Worst experience

At first, with the manager Kelly, everything was great. She made everything clear, was kind, and always made sure we were on the same page and also made sure everything was running properly and that you were taken care of. Then they switched management to Stephanie, and it was awful. Many hidden fees, she has terrible attitude, would be very snotty and rude, and not helpful at all. Washers and dryers were broke a lot of the time, it was hard to get maintenance to fix things, loud kids screaming... from the outside from the middle of the complex, and you spend a good chunk of money on an “okay” apartment. Very sad to have had a poor experience the last half of my stay ever since new management rolled in.

Fillmore Ridge

Megan and Stephanie have gone above and beyond to make my moving experience go smoothly. My new apartment is great and the staff really makes you feel at home. The maintenance man was prompt and fixed the problem within a few hours of putting in my request. Its been a very positive moving experience.

Love it here

My boyfriend and I moved from Illinois and Stephanie, the property manager has been so helpful! And the maintenance man, Nelson, is amazing too! They have gone above and beyond for us which is great because it is our first apartment and we are so far away from our families.

So Far So Good

I have been living here in a one bedroom unit for a few months now and now feel like I have experienced enough about Fillmore Ridge to give an honest review (I will update it later if need be). Briefly however, I have enjoyed it more than expected.

Pros:

Management - For us, all of the staff have been friendly and easy to work with from our initial calls to now.
Location - Now that the Fillmore Interchange project has wrapped up getting to the interstate and elsewhere is pretty convenient....
Having the King Soopers up the hill is nice as well.
Ambiance - Might seem a little cheesy, but they take good care of the landscaping. Crews come out every week and make things look good. I'll also note that my particular unit does not face the interstate, so there is little to no traffic noise to bother me. You may experience differently depending on the location.
Neighbors - This one is really hit or miss, but I've had no problems with bad or noisy neighbors. People keep to themselves and kids are out playing all the time during the day so things feel calm most of the time. The dumpster area can get pretty trashed (no pun intended) but not much else.
Kitchen - all the appliances are pretty up to date and work well. No dishwasher so take note.
Water - since it's a boiler system (I believe, don't quote me on it) water temp varies. sometimes it's warm, sometimes it's scalding hot, so be aware.
Work Orders - Haven't had to submit many, but they were dealt with within a day. When there was scheduled maintenance such as turning off the water they sent out proper notice. No complaints
Parking - Always seems to be a spot, no assigned parking which I prefer. Just easier.

Cons:

Pets - I'm not a pet person, and the complex is pet friendly. If I'm honest, it's better than I expected. people seem to take good care of their pets here but just be aware you may get stuck next to a barking dog(s) or you may not.
The Ceilings - Only a problem for people on the first floor, but the ceilings are pretty thin. So almost anytime someone above you moves you'll hear it. You kinda get used to it , but it will vary as well.
Furnace - It's nice to have a natural gas furnace to keep the place warm, but when the fan turns on it rattles like none other. The noise can be a little obnoxious.

Overall I'm really content living at Fillmore Ridge and don't foresee myself leaving as long as nothing drastically changes. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Not That Great

We've been living here for about 4 months now and things are okay. There's quite a few hidden fees, such as the water bill. Expect your water bill to go way up in the summer because you're chipping in to pay for sprinklers and the pool. Managers also mentioned that there's a fee when you move out to cover the cost of any painting that needs to be done and cleaning if you're a smoker. We moved in and the place reeked of cigarette smoke and the paint job inside is ridiculously terrible. Work... orders are a joke at times. Management is nice, but don't seem motivated. I gave maintenance a time slot in which I would be home and they still haven't come. Neighbors are loud; blasting music, yelling, dogs barking all day. Smokers are everywhere here, so if you're not a fan BEWARE. Washer machines are TINY. They don't clean the parking lot when it snows, so everything turns into ice and stays until it melts. We moved here from out of state, so finding an apartment was kind of difficult, and we've learned our lesson. When our lease is up we plan on moving out. Renters are recommended to look elsewhere.
