Horrible Management and Ownership
The management of this building is awful. They charge luxury prices and give dollar store performance. The lock on the front door has been broken for 6 months. Because of this, the building is unsecured and accessible to anyone. Management is aware of this and refuses to do anything about it. Management is completely unresponsive to the concerns of the tenants. The heat is broken in the gym, so the temperature reaches 40-50 degrees on a cold day. The gym is also filthy and looks like it is... cleaned once every few months. One of the pole lights in front of the building has been laying on its side with live electrical wires exposed for about 6 months now. I can only imagine the terrible impression this gives to potential renters. Washers and dryers are frequently broken. The private equity, absentee building owners (located in CA) are a major problem too. They are cheap and refuse to spend the money necessary to fix what is wrong with the building. The owners have gone through 3 management companies in the last 4 years, and the management companies have described the owners as impossible to work with. The fire alert system has been malfunctioning on and off for the last year +. The location of the building is great, but you will regret leasing an apartment due to the complete clown show that is management and ownership, as well as the condition of the building facilities. Do your research. Read the reviews on google. Do not put yourself through the stress of living in this building. The unhappiness of tenants in the building is actually pretty impressive.
