love it!

Moved here in October 2022, maintenance is quick to respond to tasks we have had. The grounds are kept clean. The office is friendly, replies to emails asap. The office has an open door policy. If you prefer to talk in person instead of email, the office will help you. They are friendly, attentive, you can take your dog with you. Your dog will love them and the treats! I have no complaint about my neighbors. Everyone is friendly says hi. LOVE this place!

Awful Neighbors

Pre-covid, my neighbors were great. The units having pretty good noise isolation and I barely heard anything from the previous occupants of that unit. My current next door neighbors now are particularly awful. They slam their kitchen cabinet doors and drawers for hours every night. They frequently cook greasy and nasty smelling food that stinks up my apartment. Their children bounce balls, jump off furniture, drag chairs across the tile floor, scream, and slam doors. I've had some terrible... , disrespectful, and entitled neighbors, but these are the absolute worst.

The grounds are well maintained, but the breezeways and stairwells are stained and full of trash. The dumpsters are almost always full of mattresses, furniture, and boxes. The tap water leaves a sticky brown residue on everything. Like most complexes, dog poop is still everywhere despite maintenance picking it up.

As for pluses, the units are very large and the included private garage is really nice. All of my appliances are from 2005 and the cheapest most basic units, but they do function. The only reason that I renewed was the covid peak and I'm regretting that now.

This complex should be called Dog Poop Heaven

Do not move here unless you want to be overrun by dog poop. There is poop all over the property, all the time. Sometimes the maintenance crew cleans it up but within a few days it is back in full force. When I walk my dog, I am constantly looking out for poop so I can try to prevent her from stepping in it. Even with my constant vigilance, she still manages to step in it several times a week lately, simply because there is so much. Also don't even try walking on the side streets in the... larger community - trash, empty liquor containers and broken glass all over, all the time. Moving as soon as my lease is up and starting to think the $4,000 early termination fee would be worth it.

Was good at first then poor management, maintenance and bad neighbors.

When we first moved into our apartment at Whisper Sky it was great! However, as time progressed there was multiple changes in management and 'type' of residents. Maintenance also turned over quickly.

We were made to feel that we were the problem when all we wanted was to live in peace and have management enforce the rules.

1) We had repeated issues with one of our neighbors. While we understand things are never perfect when people are living in such close proximity, we had our...
downstairs/adjacent neighbors that were heavy cigarette smokers. The smoke would overtake our apartment and get on our belongings. Additionally, the way the apartment was situated is that their garage was under our living room. They drove Uber and had two small but loud dogs and were constantly in and out of their garage in the likes of 15-20 times between 5pm and 2am. This was loud and shook the apartment. I had to get an attorney to fix this and even then, it took months.
2) Upstairs neighbors whose dog constantly barked.After asking nicely several times we they did end up giving them a notice of compliance, which took care of the issue.
3) Other neighbors would be loading an unloading their car/truck in the middle of the night, multiple times a night, because they were charging those electric scooters.
4) We paid $50 per month in pet rent for two cats and got nothing in return. See # 5.
5) There was dog poop everywhere. They poorly enforced this and then would not clean.
6) There were central/general fire alarm pulls in the public corridors. Someone was pulling these in the middle of the night, sometimes multiple times in one night or over multiple days. There was a speaker inside your unit which was ungodly loud and would often take an hour for the fire department to access what they needed to shut it off.
7) At some point, the complex changed from Republic to Waste Management. Trash would constantly overflow so there was literally a trash pile. This was almost weekly.
8) Our Air-Conditioning would freeze up multiple times during the hottest days in the summer because the system was poorly maintained and leaked refrigerant.

Absolutely LOVE it here!

I have lived here for over a year and recently decided to upgrade to a bigger floor plan. The transition was smooth and the Leasing Office staff couldn't have been more accommodating to myself and my teenage daughter. Isaac, Jennifer and especially Preston have gone above and beyond for me. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. The apartments are huge and the maintenance staff has always been timely to any requests for repair that I've had. I've been a renter in Colorado for over 20 years... and this is by far the best rental experience I have ever had!
