Midway Gardens Apartments

the landlord only want money don't care about you having mixes alot lot of roaches leave you in the cold no hot water til mid March. Left tenants without no hot water and heat February and some of March. They want there rent but don't care how they treat you. Don't move here

My son has been looking for an apartment we find this place. We arrived on a Saturday for a showing twice 2 different weeks. And nobody is their eventhough the sign say Saturday showings. Then we go on a monday and again no management. We speak to a long term resident and employee who gives us a lease form that cant be read like no ink was in the printer. I then call as directed mon thru friday 1pm to 4pm no answer voicemail full. I call the other number and get constant beeps. At the end... of the day I dont think I want my adult accountant son renting from them. If it starts like this I guarantee it will end up being like this for a year under a lease. If they actually check the reviews they need to get better management staff. Lee mas

I have lived at Midway Gardens for over 15 years. When I read some of these reviews I was baffled. I LOVE THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE STAFF. They help you with almost anything. Some people have nasty units and they just don't keep their units clean, hello they lease apartments they don't clean them for you. You have to keep your unit clean and call for extermination. I know a lot about the people hear and they want something for nothing half the time when they complain they have not even paid... their rent. Some of them I listen and they say the staff is nice but they just try to get over. They wont let the exterminator in cause 1 their unit is dirty and they don't want management to see it and 2, I bet dollars to donuts they haven't even paid their rent. We have to be right and we get treated right in most cases. I love my building. My view is spectacular and if you got pest put in a work order and more than likely you brought them or you need to clean your house . ONE THING I KNOW FOR SURE NO BUILDING IS PERFECT BUT IF WE WORK TOGETHER INSTEAD OF TELLING HALF TRUTHS, WE CAN MAKE IT BETTER. HOW IS IT THAT THEY HAVE RESIDENTS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE 30 AND 40 YEARS IF THEY SO BAD COME ON CLEAN UP AND LET THE EXTERMINATOR IN OR MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO TALK T0 THEM. Do not lease any of these apartment units the whole building is infest with roaches & mice !!!! Management is lazy & don't fix anything!!

I gave the manager a $350.00 money order for a credit check and a security deposit after I was asked few questions about my background and credit history. I called the manager repeatedly and left messages afterward on their answering machine before I physically had to go to the building a total of three times during a period of 4 weeks to get an answer on the credit check. I never saw the manager again after he took my money. The assistant manager stated to me they were checking out something on... my credit report related to a past judgement against me and wanted to make sure I was resolving this matter with regular payments. I gave the assistant manager the legal paperwork confirming this, but he insisted the manager needed to speak verbally to the organization. I gave them the number to call, and even reached a receptionist for the organization by phone while in the manager's office. However, the management claimed they still couldn't reach anyone when they tried to call. Meanwhile I was approved at two more expensive buildings that required a credit check, both in less than two days. It has been over 6 weeks since the management has cashed my money order and has not given me a verbal or written notice of approval or non approval. Lee mas
