Not worth the money
The location of this complex is great - its only positive feature; Mariano's next door, close to the highway, close to the amenities of the North Shore.
The cons:
The units are extremely overpriced for their tiny sizes and the building is poorly made.
One of the worst features is its lack of sound insulation. You hear it all. Neighbors arguing across the hall, neighbors next door watching television, every step of your upstairs neighbor at all hours, and the dog down the hall who is crying... and howling all day while waiting for its owner to return home from work.
Craftsmanship is cheap and poor. Doors aren't flush with their frames, faucets separate from the wall, loud HVAC systems. The smoke detectors are a joke. Dinner time is a symphony of alarms going on and off along the entire floor, every night. I no longer use my stove or oven because it will set the alarms off - even if I'm only heating some frozen chicken fingers. No toaster. Only microwave all the time.
Heaven help you if you live on the south side of the building facing the outside perimeter. The Mariano's receiving dock is there and receives semi-truck shipments of groceries 24 hours. That is also where the garbage trucks pick up and slam the dumpsters first thing in the morning. Also where the building's smokers congregate.
The complex requires guests to obtain parking passes to stay in the garage. Unless they request an overnight pass, the tow truck will be waiting until exactly 10:00 PM when it will start taking cars. No mercy. Have your friends park at Mariano's.
I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. You can get an additional 200+ sq. ft and a quiet environment for the same price almost anywhere else.
