Whitcomb Terrace Apartments

The apartment walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that goes on in everyone’s apartment! Loud rude neighbors which management really didn’t do anything to keep the noise level down! The apartments are mold infected! Myself & other neighbors had mold in our apartments! My apartment had a flood which was caused by the laundry room next to my apartment & a leak
from the neighbor’s tub above me! The flood was taking care of right away, but the leak in the bathroom ceiling took a month to... get repaired! The laundry room doesn’t have an air vent to connect to the outside for the dryer, which is causing the walls in the hall to sweat & feel like a sauna which is also causing the mold! I’m so happy that my lease has ended! Lee mas

Only thing they care about is rent so quick to smack a 10 day notice but can’t never come when it’s a problem with something in the apartment. Do NOT Move Here

Well, I have tried to be understanding and patient. I have had so many problems with this apartment. From the heating, to the electric and now the leaking(through the ceiling in the bedroom and patio). I have given up on expecting them to resolve them. My most recent problems is leaking in the apartment. In particular, leaking above my bed in my bedroom and leaking through the frame of the patio window. The maintenance keeps coming out to inspect the carpet but they are not doing... anything like fixing the ceiling or the patio frame to resolve the problem. Lee mas

I have not had a good experience. I have tried to be understanding toward this apartment complex. I have been patient, kind and respectful. Consistently, the maintenance requests have not been resolved. The most recent problems: leaking in my bedroom ceiling above my bed. 5am I awoke to water dripping in my bed. Later that same day, I discovered that water was leaking in through the patio window area. I asked for a wet vac so that I could get the water out of carpet. I was told that... carpet cleaners were being sent out on that day. I thought this was unusual, but I was assured they were coming out. Of course, this did not occur. I was left to use towels, blankets and sheets to absorb the water. I had to use my electric heater to attempt to dry the area. I am currently still dealing with this problem. During the winter months, I had numerous problems with my heat and electric in the apartment. Oh! I almost forgot about the leaking in the closet which destroyed some of my jewelry products that I sell to help pay my rent. My apartment is very outdated. In my opinion, you really need to know your rights as a tenant. You need to become familiar with the process for filing a complaint. I just started this process; I wished I started it earlier. This apartment complex is horrible honestly first off they have a extreme bug problem. I have encountered spiders, yellow jacket hornets, centipedes, and water bugs. When expressing this to the rental office I was told that only the "management" team could get somebody out to treat the apartment. So I have talked to everybody the woman in the office, and maintenance actually saw a hornet in my apartment and still that wasn't enough to get an approval??? So while paying my rent like I was suppose... too I encountered hornets in my apartment ALL summer. Not just 1 every now and again literally I would walk in my kitchen to 7 dead hornets on floor! Moving on they never clean the grounds surrounding the apartments there is constantly garbage everywhere. The halls never get cleaned even through a pandemic where cleanliness should be a requirement. The laundry rooms are outdated and again DIRTY! Be careful they will show you an "model" apartment and on move in day you will get something you never signed up for. I literally walked into my apartment building completely shocked because it was nothing like what I was shown. Just honestly a horrible place to live the only thing this place is good at is collecting rent not even lying WORST APARTMENT I have ever lived in. One of the ladies told me well at least this is your worst as if dealing with hornets that are stinging me is not so bad. I would love to see how she would be in same position no empathy at all the maintenance team even tried to make me seem crazy telling me I don't have a bug problem when I'm in the apartment everyday. The maintenance guys are super petty they leave condescending notes to all tenants talking about cleaning the laundry room when they don't even have a trash can available. I could go on and on but at the end of the day you all get the picture please don't do it. I'm so happy my lease is almost done this was a huge mistake and that's the truth! Lee mas
