Parkside Plaza Condos

Having lived at Parkside for over 16 years, I know that it is a great place to live. The neighbors are friendly, & management & staff work hard to foster a clean, safe & efficient environment. Aside from the convenient location (5 mins from downtown Silver Spring, mins from DC & from the beltway/VA), Parkside has ample parking, a nice pool & BBQ area, public transportation, card-operated laundry rooms, 24-HR front desk; safe package receipt; contactless delivery set-up, and more. The newly... renovated hallways, renovated lobbies & mailroom are beautiful. With amazing parks, schools, shopping & entertainment nearby, Parkside is a suburban gem w/ city access. Of course like any place else there are challenges, but Parkside has rules & regs in place to help keep the community functioning safely & securely. Lee mas

This place is absolutely horrible.
Let me start with the building management.
*old building/systems. Only three elevators that looks like it needs an update 5 years ago. For a building that is 18 stories high, 10 apartments on each floor, there are only three elevators. And if someone is booking it for the whole day, the line is backed up all day.
*Laundry room is tiny!! To the point that you open the door and hit a washer. And if you leave your clothes for just a little bit, someone will say... something and be rude. And you have to personally buy a card before adding money, up and down the elevator all week to another room just to add money.
*NO HELP FROM FRONT DESK! Boxes that are too big to break down they make you walk it ALL the way to the dumpster in the basement. Super inconvenient when you have a baby, can't carry and push the stroller. And if you have tons of groceries? FORGET IT. No one helps you, you have to walk all across the parking lot, elevator, hallways with all your stuff.
*YOU NEED KEYS JUST FOR ANYTHING. Always having to ask the front desk for multiple keys : gym, pool passes, dumpster, laundry room, storage room...it goes on!
*Rude rude rude rude front desk/ managers. Whenever I needed help and didn't know something, the snobbish attitudes/ lack of interest in helping is enough to make anyone's day turn around.
*management has "building court hearings" when you have anything other than white curtains, leave hanging bathing suits on balcony. Pretty much anything petty. On top of that, they send emails to your landlord complaining about every little thing. NO PRIVACY OR RESPECT.
*this place looks nice but it's full of judgmental people, staff, tenants and all are rude. Lee mas
