I have been living here for about 9 months so far and the property manager Deena has been very helpful in answering questions even after I moved in and it is generally very easy to get ahold of someone by phone. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly as well and usually within about a day has been my experience thus far. It is also a nice quite neighborhood and right down the street from veterans park.

Overall, the actual units are nice. My only complaint is the laundry rooms. They are so dirty, the machines barely ever work, there’s been multiple times where i started a load then come back to switch it and the machine stopped working halfway through so i was left with wet soapy clothes and had to pay for another wash. Almost every time I have to stand there for 10 minutes pressing the button because it’s never cooperating. The laundry rooms need a big upgrade.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our Community. We are aware there have been some concerns with the laundry room equipment and have recently had a meeting with the Laundry Company. They have assured us that they will be "stepping up... their game" and doing a better job with repairs to the equipment. We intend to shadow them while they make repairs to be certain they are doing the best job possible. We apologize you have had to be inconvenienced and hope that moving forward this concern has been resolved.

I say this complex is good with make up because that’s all they do. Cover up the blemishes to make it look nice enough to get another person to pay for this overpriced rent. The laundry rooms are disgusting. Rats are appearing more and more in the lots. The maintenance staff is a joke and all they wanna do is raise the rent every year. It’s a joke.

Long story short, the apartments are not worth the price.
The building I was in received renovations that were half done. The walls are the thinnest that I’ve ever lived in. It’s like having someone in your apartment with you. After the property manager left, the replacement was not very helpful.

We are sorry to hear that you have concerns about your apartment home here at Royal Crest Apartments. We are unsure of your reference to the renovations being "half done" as our renovations are always complete and are beautifully done. After our... Property Manager left to move to another state, we had a temporary replacement, however, our new Property Manager who came to us with much experience is doing a fantastic job. I gave 3 months notice that I would be moving out. Lady in office said everything was fine and they are aware. Now we reminded them that we’re leaving this month, I’m told well thats good but we don’t have it in writing. Spoke to someone that kept yelling and screaming at me over the phone said to be the regional manager. He gave me 2 options, I leave as my said time December 31st, they take $1620 of my security deposit and I let their people in the apartment to measure. Or I pay the month of... January $1720 and leave in January. He kept telling me that I need to accommodate them to come in to do what needs to be done but there is no guarantee that they’ll help me keep some of my deposit.

We are sorry that the end of your lease in our Community did not go as you hoped, however, it is required by both our lease and the New Jersey Truth in Renting that you give proper notice to vacate in writing.
