Get out while you still can

I lived there 2 days. Rat and cockroach infestations in other residents' rooms. Triple homicide down the street. Now they have my deposit, 4 months of rent, and I've lived there for 2 days. Unless you want to spend $4000 to get yourself out of a terrible living situation I would highly NOT recommend ever living here.

We're truly sorry you did not have a positive experience with us. Our goal is for all residents to be happy with their living experience here, and since that was not the case for you we allowed you to end your lease early with no fees. I am a little... confused by this review though, as we fully refunded you your money. If there is any confusion with that please reach out to us as we have already sent out a full refund for you as we talked about to make things right.

The Best View of Old West End

I’ve been here 6 mo and yes this is an older building but it is well cared for . Management takes care of your concerns quickly as well as security . I love having a garage and my own space to park . The best part is the glass views that run across my whole apt . I love living here i walk to Art museum and Black Kite and so close to downtown .

Run for your life!

Bed bugs! One elevator is broken down regularly. Tenants trash the place. Graffiti. Carpet in hallways is atrocious. Cleaning crew use putrid chemicals. Laundry room is a joke. Worst of all is the rude unfriendly staff. This place sucks.

I am sorry of the situation you had while you were at the property. Since the new owner and management has taken over in 2021, we are in the misted of an elevator upgrade that was very well needed. We have tackled the pest issue and made several... wonderful improvements for our residents and have many more to come. I hope in the future you may come see all the wonderful changes that have been taking place and possibly think of of for your next home.

Overpriced and poorly managed!

Building is not very well kept and leaks water everywhere. When asked to make repairs in unit, Management became combative and unprofessional. They charge way too much rent for what they give back. Elevators are always broke, people park everywhere they shouldn't, there is one dumpster that is always filled and overflowing and the building is not safe. Management is never present and you are left to address your concerns with the leasing agent, who given her situation is very professional and... pleasant to speak with. However, what was supposed to be a joyous experience living downtown has become a nightmare. Trust me when I say that the manager only cares about you until after you sign the lease. I would not recommend this property or any other Monarch property in Toledo based on my experience with the manager.
