Place is falling apart DON'T MOVE HERE

I was shown the showcase model loved it. On move in date the unit was filthy, not painted, windows with no screens, fixtures dangling,faucets, stove not working. The manager and the maintenance team are disrepair have a sense of impunity. If you speak up about the disrepair create a hostile environment, and get mad when you set boundaries.

STAY AWAY

If I could give negative stars, I would. One of the worst places I have ever had the displeasure of living at. Place is old, run-down, with extremely cheap “upgrades” that are not well maintained. Layout needs updating: the kitchen is so tiny that 2 people cannot safely get by each other in it and the ‘greenspace’ between the garage and the apartment itself is completely useless. Cabinets are painted with dark, cheap house paint that makes it difficult to see into and is nightmare to clean—... clearly it was difficult for the previous resident and cleaning crew as well, because the insides of the cabinets were dirty when we moved in. Ceiling and bathroom leaks, bug infestations (we’ve seen BIG cockroaches multiple times, wasps, ants, and worms that come out of the floors when it rains), broken garage openers, light fixtures that spontaneously fall from the ceiling, squeaky ceiling fans and floors, warped floorboards and countertops (made of cheap particleboard that needs to be replaced), nonexistent insulation making it freezing in the winter and possible for us to smell every cigar our neighbors smoked, kitchen sink pipes that just spontaneously come apart, and a cracked bathtub panel upon move-in that a contractor removed for replacement, except it never got replaced so we’ve been able to see straight down into the pipes for over 4 months (as of the posting of this review— it was never repaired for the remainder of my lease) However, they still had the nerve to raise rent for the defective unit. Management brushed me off every time I called to check in on repair progress. Extra fees that cannot be cancelled or reimbursed for inconsistent or nonexistent service— valet trash does not come as often as advertised and we went without service for a full month without compensation. The CAF management regional supervisor was contacted about the issue but she was actively unhelpful as well— clearly this management company does not care for their residents. Maintenance workers are friendly when they actually come by, but they rarely come by because management does not care enough to send them. More often than not, online maintenance requests are marked as completed without anyone coming by to look at the issue. To get any help for urgent matters I had to directly call the maintenance office and request service, sometimes multiple times. This place is absolutely not worth what you’d be paying and I would highly suggest you continue your apartment search elsewhere.

False Advertisement

The photos are incredibly misleading. The apartments have outdated appliances that are frequently broken. The garages are in terrible condition. There is limited drainage when it rains. They charge a waste service that often doesn’t show up when scheduled and the dumpsters are often overflowing. Maintenance is in need of an over hall. They cut corners wherever possible and do not show up at the times tenants are informed they will. The two car garage phase is often ignored and gets run down.... There are lots of problems with the apartments. Front office staff is constantly changing, so there is never any consistency in following up with maintenance issues or billing. They are only worried about new tenants contracts and renewals.

Not a Bot

I was going to wait until I hit 4 or 5 months before I did a review but I honestly don't feel it changing too drastically. I've really enjoyed my stay here thus far. My take on the neighbors is we're all mostly middle aged professionals. The community is reasonably a quiet area and unless you live off one of the main roads where at night it seems to turn into a drag racing strip at times, but that's the city problem not the community. The single bedroom unit I live in has plenty of room, and to... think I almost ended up getting a two bedroom....glad I thought about it. Overall, I'm glad i moved here.
