Old but great location and price
The rent is very reasonable for the size of the apartment plus you only pay electric, everything else (including TV & internet) is included. It's in a great location, less than 5 minutes from campus. The complex is small, mostly families and graduate students. The manager is really nice and the maintenance man is very helpful. The pool is small but quiet, you usually have it to yourself.
My main complaint is that the walls are thin which is not surprising given the age of the buildings. The... appliances in some units are also pretty old.
In the area there are a real lack of options for apartments that are nice, not student housing, and very close to A&M campus. Out of all the ones I visited, Eastgate is probably the best for the price.
