GONE DOWN HILL...
When I first moved back to San Antonio a year and a half ago I found the Abbey at Stone Oak after looking at many places. I liked how it was built more like a townhouse/condo with a garage. But after getting in to it and dealing with the neighbors that you can hear everything they say( just loud and not concern of others around, cars that speed down the streets(even though the speed limit is posted 10 MPH) and Management does nothing to render this(i.e. add speed bumps to the side roads). Then... you have the trash area, one for the whole complex and it is always over flowing come the weekend and we end up with trash everywhere so if you happen to live on the back side that is what you see, now we have Tenants that run their trucking business out of the complex and are always parking on the egress/degrees on the back side of the complex leaving the sleeper engine running at all hours and for days at a time so the Noise is terrible and it looks like you are living next to a truck stop (we pay more for the view on the back side and this is what you see now). This past year we have had people smoking weed, partying with their friends, doing weed and what ever other drugs they have (and yes police have come out on multiple occasions for that as well as for family abuse issues and other issues with fights). this is the Stone Oak area and it was always a nice place, but now a days it is no better then other areas of the City. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, IN THE LAST YEAR THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL.
