The layout may not be for everyone, but if you’re looking for modern, carefree, in town living the Rixey is truly fantastic. The building is new. The staff is not only friendly, but the maintenance staff is extremely efficient. There are varying reviews about students, but, in my experience the masonry partition walls make each apartment nearly soundproof. I work carrying shift work and don’t hear noise day or night. The amenities spaces are well maintained and easy to access. Things that are... broken or out of order are noticed and repaired in short order. The appliances are higher end, the heat and AC works perfectly, and hot water is never a problem. I toured almost a dozen similar properties in a 10 square mile radius before finally making the decision to move here, It’s not the cheapest, but with utilities included it makes the price decently competitive. You can save a couple hundred bucks by choosing a lower end property but the difference is staggering. Unless you simply can’t afford it, skimping isn’t worth it, in my opinion. Lee mas

If you’re keen with mice and students with their feet up all evening in the common areas, this is the place for you! Oh and bring a canoe and some rafts, as it’s a flood almost every week. Management is over the Top Horrible with the exception of Caroline and Brandon.
