Ambience Lofts

I have lived here for 2 months and my room has flooded every time it rains. i have been sleeping in my roommates room because rain is literally pouring through my windows. this is an APARTMENT WIDE problem, as both of my neighbors on each side have the same problem. maintenece takes weeks to get back to you, and they still don’t solve any issues. dishwasher broke a week after we moved in. closet lights don’t work. the list goes on. the rent is cheap for a reason. i can’t wait to move out.

Not the best, but not the worst either. If you really want to live in Scott’s addition, this building is a good value for the money. I did have some issues with management, water damage, and spiders, but I’ve had worse.

Where do we even start? This place will get you with the "ambience" and have you signed into a lease for more than $1000 before you notice the leaky windows that cause $600 heat bills, the thin walls where you can hear your neighbor on their cell phone and the person on the other end of the line, the construction happening that goes 7 days a week or the cheap appliances that fall apart after every use. This is NOT a luxury apartment but you WILL pay those prices. Thalhimer tricks you with... maintenance as they send a one man shop out moments after you call, who shows up to look like they are "on it" and to see what tools are needed, then he leaves and doesn't return to actually do the work. If work is done it falls apart a week later and you are calling maintenance again. All of the tenants we have met in the building are miserable and moving out as they can. This place is a ghost town and for good reason .If you want to move to Scott's Addition, check out other properties as this one is a nightmare. Lee mas
