Seven Lakes at Carrollwood Apartments

We have been living in this community for a few years. I would recommend anyone moving here to think twice before making that decision. the most recent experience took place last night. Our AC unit was giving off sparks, which clearly is a fire hazard (mix sparks with this heat and bushes can lead to a fire). we called maintenance and they stated it was not an emergency. they came to fix it this morning but as you can see poorly done! Some of the maintenance guys spend more time helping one of... the residents repair cars then doing their job.

These people that live here are quiet and respectful. The staff is always friendly and kind. The mailman is kind, thoughtful, and caring. Most of all, Dion is efficient, kind, courteous, and respectful. The trash service personnel are nice also. The gym amenities are clean. It is a wonderful place to raise a child.

The leasing office is horrible, the size of the apartment for the price is completely absurd, the massive chunk of ceiling that caved in on my porch was covered with chicken wire almost a year ago and that's their "fix" to the problem, black mold is persistently growing back every time I clean it in the bathroom, the black mold in the closet was "fixed" by painting over it and now the paint is chipping off with a 10in circle on my ceiling now, I'm being charged extra every month for the "service... fee" to pay my rent even though I'm already paying it and have sent proof, so now I have to send a photo of the receipt every month and have a battle with the office to hopefully take the charges off before my lease is up, the pool has chewed up pizza crusts on the ground, garbage wrappers floating in the pool, the front door has about a half inch gap between the door and floor so the air just flows out and the maintenance put a new strip in that did nothing because it's the actual door that's the problem.. honestly I could go on and on. We moved here a couple of days ago. We initially moved from another state and Swan Lake leasing office made this process so much smoother and less stressful! Our leasing agent Yolanda did an outstanding job accommodating us and our needs! Property looks great, pool area is very beautiful! So far we got lucky with our neighbors so it’s very quiet in here.

I love living at Swan Lake Apts., the apartments are beautiful and roomy. Yolanda is so nice and professional she made everything so smooth and easy to get the apartment. Also, everyone in the office are very friendly and are happy to help out in any situation.
