RUN... IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT

DEC 2022 REVIEW CURRENT RESIDENT

PAY ATTENTION TO THE REAL REVIEWS.

We relocated to this area, 33647 est. 6mths ago. The first apartment we discovered mold and had to move after 3.5weeks, which landed us here at THE VININGS, after one month it has been nothing but issues. The staff WERE responsive in the beginning and then the Asst. Mgr said in front of the New Property Mgr. and Maintenance crew, I was special and had a lot of requests. WELL NO HONEY, the unit and surrounding property is...
horrible. The FOUNDATION IS COVERED IN MOLD. The bathroom tile fell off, the staff took their time to have it fixed, in the meantime I purchased a mold kit to test the air quality. SURE ENOUGH the LAB RESULTS CONFIRMED the presence of mold in the air. Meanwhile my son has been severely ill, and still has lingering cough...we've already went to the doctors and on our way to a specialist. Let's not forget when it rains the UPSTAIRS UNIT porch gets flooded and thats when we discovered the untreated ceiling - - as HURRICANE IAN WAS ABOUT TO MAKE LANDFALL, 2022. It is 12/19/22 and this is still pending.

I want to note on here one incident of a visitor of a neighboring unit attempted to GET INTO MY CAR WHILE I WAS IN IT CLAIMING IT WAS HIS "FRIENDS". I told the office and shown proof but they shrugged it off. the list goes on....and have only been here six months....had I read the reviews prior to visiting I wouldn't be in this situation. =/

Very bad place to live

Where to begin: the new owners are very sketchy. They raised the prices of utilities and trash collection without notifying tenets. They are trying to increase rent by 30% without any new amenities or fixing any of the dozens of broken ones.

The trash is rarely picked up, and it ends up collecting in front of the dumpster where raccoons tear it apart and spreading it all over the property, leaving the area smelling terrible.

Upon moving in, the apartment had not been cleaned. We found...
several cockroaches the first day we were here. The door didn’t lock, window screen was ripped, outlets were loose etc.

Mold, No Working Toilet, Bugs and Non responsive management.

I moved into a “remodeled” apartment in May. In reality all that had been done was vinyl flooring installed. My toilet did not work for the first three month I lived here. Every time it was used I had to call maintenance to snake it. Some times 3 times in one day at all hours. Then, my water started turning black. I put in a service request about a month ago and they have yet to even check it out. Next, was the mold in my apartment. I got four sinus infections and several migraines. Finally, I... found mold in the air conditioning closet. All my clothes smell musty to this day. I’ve washed about 2/3 of them. I have cried over my living conditions, begged them to let me move someone safe but they want $3,000 and two months rent. Their grounds are not kept and look trashy. It is definitely nowhere near worth what they charge in rent. Most recently I asked for a storage closet and I am being flat out ignored. I am miserable. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

My apt is my home

Love my apt. It's near my daughter's school, public library, Publix and the best part it's about 15 minutes to Bush Gardens. I am married with two young kids 2 and 6. I am the only one working and Daddy babysit the kids and every day it's a challenge. I do love my family, life and my apt, it's my home.
