Terrible apartment and terrible manager

This apartment advertise that it provide free heat and free wifi but it is false. The heat is not exist on cold weather and the manager does not handle on time. The tenants should operate space heater and pay electricity for heating apartment. Also wifi has signal with poor connection. A/C installation but it does not happen on summer. Terrible manager I have ever met in my lifetime.

Terrible manager I have ever met

Apartment is somehow good, but the manager is suck and terrible. He dont take care of management, even I claimed several times. If you live in this apartment, you will see 1) poor plumber--even you asked maintenance but he resolved without doing anything-- 2) poor wifi -- it has signal but not connected to internet 3) no A/C on Summer and 4) no heat on Winter. All advertisement about this apartment is fake. He even enter the apartment without any notice. If you are still okay with it, you can... live but there are so many good options around here. PLEASE DO NOT GET STRESS FROM THIS AND CHOOSE OTHER ONE

False Advertising, Terrible Conditions

No heat in time for seasonal cold snaps, repairs not completed in a timely manner. Unresponsive to tenant requests and needs, and falsely advertising his buildings as being under new management.

Stay as far away as you can.

Greedy Manager

The worst place to live. The manager is greedy and charges money for no reason. He demanded money for a leak in the bathroom ceiling that was caused by the apartment upstairs. He has not paid my security deposit back to me. He is rude and very irresponsible. Security is a major issue in the building due to lack of camera and poor locks.

Poor Management

I regretfully would give it zero stars if I could because of management. The apartment itself is adequate, but I have received nothing but poor communication and hostility while a tentant. Including will trying to get heat during the winter and an internet outages resolved. I was without internet for 3 weeks. That all was resolved eventually, however I am still waiting and hoping to receive my deposit. Which was allegedly mailed twice, to two different address, and never received at either.... Every offer to come pick up check or pay for it to be sent certified was ignored. There are much nice apartments for a better price in the area, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

Property Manager at Heights Apartments on Overlook responded to this review

I wish you would have shared with this audience the reason why there was no heat and internet outages. There was a horrific storm that extensively damaged the greater Cleveland area. Specifically, Cleveland Heights was one of the worst communities... affected. There was no electricity for several days. Since the boiler sensor system requires electricity to operate the boiler, there was no method to provide any heat source for the building. As far as internet was concerned, there was no internet available until the electricity was restored. Unfortunately, the damage to the internet lines in the immediate area of the building was significantly more extensive which caused additional delays to restore the internet. In spite of multiple calls per day by management to the internet service provider, the internet lines took almost three weeks to get repaired. As far as the security deposit refund check is concerned, there were two checks mailed to the addresses you requested. They were sent as required by Ohio Landlord Tenant Law. Once again, management cannot be responsible for the mail. Since COVID, we all know that the US Postal Service is very unreliable. Thank you.
