A lot of breaks in worst place to live

I move in in October got all settled in then the middle of November my place got broke into. The stuff that got stolen is food, clothes, medicine and household items. I have three kids and a single parent that work hard to support them and I would not suggest anyone to live out there unless you have renters insurance, sticks in window and a GUN. THAT'S THE HOOD
