Clearly this is the hood

This place is not life friendly. By that I mean the availability to speak with someone or come in person is only from 10-6 Monday through Friday. They have tow companies towing cars left and right even if you get a rental as a resident then try to reach out to them to update about the rental you can still be towed due to lack of response. Also the trash valet leaves stains from leaking bags all in the halls making it look so unappealing to the tenants. Not only is it hideous to see but it smells... . There is never any parking if you work late hours and the gates are always broken. I have been unable to access my home due to the gate for hours on a weekend and unable to contact any maintenance or anything. Also the pool remains unattended to and dirty. I also see a car sitting and broken down on bricks for over a week so far

DONT MOVE HERE

I strongly advise against considering this apartment complex as a place of residence. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. After withdrawing my application, I have been repeatedly denied the return of my security deposit, despite my efforts to resolve the issue amicably.

The management team has been incredibly difficult to communicate with. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do, they provide little to no help. I’ve left multiple voice...
messages and have documented all my attempts to reach them, but they have yet to offer any substantial assistance. Even though I have witnesses and call logs, they continue to claim that my deposit was refunded, which is simply untrue. I have willingly offered to provide my bank statements as proof, but they have refused to provide any evidence to support their claims.

This lack of professionalism and transparency is deeply concerning. I would never recommend anyone to live here, knowing how poorly they handle such important matters. If you’re looking for a place where you can trust the management to handle your affairs properly, this is not it. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Soured moving out experience

Before my moving out experience, I would’ve given this place 5 stars. While living here, my husband and I rarely had any issues. We are pretty laid back people and not much bothers us. The maintenance crew here definitely gets five stars because they are super friendly and helpful!

Unfortunately, it went south when my husband and I informed the apartment via email (like my husband and I were told to do by staff) before the 60 day notice that we would be moving out to continue my college...
education elsewhere. I got an email saying they acknowledged my email and my set move out date. They also only emailed this to me and not my husband or father, who was a co-signer. I thought that was that, as I did not receive a follow up email.

We have settled into our new place and my mom and dad dropped the keys off for us. That is when they told my parents that we did not fill out the form required for termination, which we were not told of by reception. They said until it is filled out, the notice doesn’t count.

So now, we are stuck paying for rent in our new place and 1.5X the rent at Emory West Cypress until October. I’ve had sleepless nights and continuous crying spells over the stress this situation has caused my me and my family. We have never given them any trouble, have always paid our rent on time, and we were kind to everyone who worked there. I feel taken advantage of by this company.

I know this was a long review, but I believe it it’s important to read before renting here. Sure, they will treat you great during your stay, but they will do anything to squeeze every last penny out of you while terminating your lease.

amazing

Have been living here for a year and it’s been good experience. Management changed shortly after we moved in and it was a little crazy the first month of the new management but everyone is super friendly and haven’t had any issues. Apartments are very spacious and maintenance is quick to respond( less than 24 hour wait).

Don’t Do It!!!

Definitely not renewing my lease and may even break my lease before its over. I’ve been here almost 6 months and I’ve had my share of issues (paper thin walls, loud cars, $300 maintenance fee), but the roaches is the cherry on top for me. I’ve never ever had roaches in my entire life. The office had someone come out the next day after I complained but nothing has worked. I have even went and bought insect spray on my own with no luck. How would you like to wake up in the middle of the night to a... decent sized roach on your toilet? The sad part is when your apartment is spotless and you have them at your place. Chances are that they are from someone else’s unit.

These apartments are brand new and I was one of the few people that moved into my building. It used to be nice but it has went down in the past few weeks/month. Good luck finding a place to park as well living here. The car ports for the most part are taken and sometimes you can barely get a spot to park at your building. There is constantly dog poop outside of the dog park (literally inches away from the fenced in dog park). I moved almost 1000 miles to deal with this crap.
