I don’t find the manager, Leylah, assistant manager, Lorena and leasing person, Janice competent as communication and follow through with simple things requested is terrible. There seems to be a lack of understanding of what is being conveyed with the assistant manager and Janice as I have had to repeat simple things for their clarity. The manager, Leylah has a hands-off, Laissez-faire leadership style and allows her staff to make decisions and avoids direct involvement with the tenants. When I... have talked with her, I feel like I’m an imposition to her time as she always seems to be rushed for time or in a meeting, and always states that I don’t need to speak with her, I can speak with any of her staff because the are capable of helping me. This is not true and I have a lack faith in their ability to help me hence I had to call corporate to get help. I could go on with all the smart home issues but I will end with this. Why would I even consider to release when I could lease somewhere within the vicinity and pay rent that is $300 less? Or better yet, buy a home that’s mine without having all the hassles of dealing with rules, fines, texts galore, and incompetent staff.
