Great for the area
This is a solid apartment complex on the south side of Glendale, with almost everything you could want or need.
The complex and parking area are both gated, with one parking spot for each one bedroom unit and two for the two bedroom units. That way you don't have to fight for street parking, which is great!
The landlord is great and very attentive, and handles most requests in a reasonable time frame. Though the apartments are a bit old, they are well-maintained and updated from time to time,... giving the complex a pleasant feel. They are also spacious for the cost!
There is laundry on-site, and though some of the machines are older and break down from time to time, they are quickly repaired. There are grills in the courtyard, along with a small pool.
The complex is quiet, mostly families, and noise levels are regulated, so if you're looking for a peaceful place to live, this is a good option. Palmer Avenue is an active street though, so the street noise can be loud at times.
The one downside for us is the complex's pet policy - no pets allowed. So if you have pets, or would like to get one in the near future, this is not the place for you.
But on the whole it's a great place to live, with easy access to freeways and shopping of all kinds.
