I had the pleasure of living in an apartment here for 8 years, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. First and foremost, the management team was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. They made me feel like a valued resident from day one.
The staff's attentiveness was truly exceptional. Maintenance requests were handled promptly, often within the same day. It was reassuring to know that any issues were addressed swiftly, ensuring a... comfortable living environment.
The apartment interiors and finishes were stunning. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of my unit. Modern fixtures, high-quality appliances, and tasteful design choices made it feel like a true home. I was proud to show off my space to friends and family.
What truly sets this apartment building apart is the incredible value it offers. Given its prime location on the Wilshire Corridor, I expected much higher rent prices. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability in comparison to similar options in the area. It allowed me to enjoy the luxurious LA lifestyle without breaking the bank.
In summary, my time at the Argon Wilshire was nothing short of exceptional. Friendly management, attentive staff, quick maintenance, beautiful interiors, and remarkable value made it a fantastic place to call home. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch living experience in Los Angeles.

For one, there is some sort of construction going on in the building every single day. It is going on as I’m writing this review. You are woken up by it on weekends and it goes on throughout almost all the weekdays. There is never any warning about it nor is it ever done discreetly.
We rented out a “luxury penthouse apartment” which means that we are on the 5th floor (top floor) and hear noise from the roof, the site of most of the construction that goes on in this building. You will hear... power saws, banging, thumping, equipment dropping, yelling, phone calls, etc all coming from the roof. With this occurring almost every single day when you’re working from home due to COVID-19, it becomes unbearable. Also unbearable are the constant water shut-offs. The building will text you almost once a week to let you know there will be an “emergency” water shut-off at some point in the week and it will certainly never turn back on when they say it will. I am not sure what the constant plumbing issues are in this building but that is certainly not something we signed up for. We were never notified about any construction to be done to the building or any plumbing issues when we signed the lease. I understand that there are times when repairs are necessary. But constantly repairing the building for the entire year that we have lived here?
There have been times when the water has been shut off for an entire day without any real explanation and then the same will happen all over again the following week. You’re unable to take a shower let alone wash your hands or boil water. Let me get into the security at the building. To be fair, most of the security personnel the building hires are adequate and do the job. But why would you want to pay a premium to live somewhere with security when only MOST of the people hired actually do the job. Unfortunately, the one time we needed security to actually do something, we were told that we should take whatever needed to be done upon ourselves. We complained to management at which point absolutely nothing happened and the issue never resolved.
That brings me to the owner of this building. Complaining about anything to the owner of the building gets you absolutely nowhere. If you have any concerns about living in this building, probably just keep them to yourself because the owner is not going to do a single thing about it anyway. Better yet, do yourself a favor and skip this building if you’re thinking of living in this area.
