This spacious studio apartment is situated in the lovely west LA. Walking distance to restaurants, theaters, shops and nightlife and UCLA. It's also a stones throw from the 10 and 405. The building well manicured, quiet and filled with friendly professionals. Management is very cooperative and attentive to maintenance needs.

This is an older single with few amenities. However, the location, price, and the property management company makes it totally worth it. The apartment is literally located at the 4way intersection of Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, UCLA, and the Westside Pavillion mall. And you can literally walk to Century City mall. Seriously, we could stop here. Everything else is in reasonable proximity as well (i.e. coastline/beaches, Hollywood, Downtown LA, etc.). The apartment complex is located in front of... a residential area with very nice homes, restaraunts and mom & pop eateries/stores that line Westwood Blvd. Numerous Whole Food Stores, Trader Joe's, Ralph's, are a 5 minute drive away. Bevmo and the new Sprouts store is a 5 minute WALK. Oh and the new Target in Westwood has made my life heaven on Earth!
I could type your eyes off about the location but here are a few things about the apartment itself: It's pretty big for a single and includes a separate eat-in kitchen and huge walk-in closet. There isn't much more to the unit beside that. No dishwasher or granite countertops. Nothing fancy. There are two sets of washer and dryers located on the property and I don't have much trouble getting a machine when I need one. It's a relatively small two story dwelling...my guess would be about 30 units. Parking can be a little challenging if you have lots of guests. There is first come, first serve parking for tenants which works amazingly well. In 5 years, I can count on one hand how many times I've had to park several blocks away on a side street that allows overnight parking. Guests can park on the nearby side streets or out front at the meters which are free after 8pm and on Sundays. Neighbors are pretty cool...everyone kind of keeps to themselves but they're friendly. In the last year or two we've gotten a few new tenants (likely students) who get noisy from time to time but nothing too outrageous.
The only issue I have is the Silverfish. My apartment tends to have a lot of them but it can be kept somewhat under control with some good spray. Property management is generally friendly and they respond immediately to service requests. I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex...especially for someone new to CA. The area is safe and it's proximity to everything is ideal for someone wanting to learn the city. Did I mention that it's directly off the bus line as well? Yep, this place has all the bases covered.
