Beware
I timidly write this review as I fear reprisals from Irvine Company, but here goes...
Pros: Good location, some of the amenities are nice
Cons: The old buildings cause issues in many different ways for different tenants. The roulette table landed on bugs for me. From talking to the maintenance staff, I got lucky because I only had ants and spiders. It could have been worse and it could have been cockroaches and spiders. Since the day I moved in I have had wave after wave of ants. The... office has sent maintenance staff to try and seal holes in the apartment on numerous occasions, exterminators on numerous occasions, but the bugs keep coming back. I even got my own exterminators to come with no avail. This place is just a breeding ground for bugs.
When all avenues are exhausted and no hope is left, the community office will not care. In fact, they'll try and blame you for something and get nasty on why the bugs are still there. There is no wiggle room on getting out of the lease. You'll have to spend the equivalent of a new car to get out of it. Which one could possibly see that as extortion. I write this cautionary tale not to be spiteful but as a warning. There are many better options you could rent at. Why play Russian roulette here?
