The management doesn't maintain the property. The trash chute handle is broken and trash is everywhere, the trash chute area is so filthy, you don't want to use it and many tenants don't, they just throw the trash on the ground. The pool and barbeque area is unusable (broken and filthy) The manager is never in the office and the office is used as a storage area for God knows what. The underground parking lot is never cleaned, the elevator is always broken which makes it very difficult for... the older tenants, and on and on...

Compared to the dozen or so horrendous apartments I viewed before locking this down, I’d say this is a pretty decent place. My actual apartment is very large and spacious, which I love. However, the apartment is like a Saturday nightclub for gnats. No matter how spotless we keep the place, or how much repellent we spray, they seem to reappear with a new group of friends, every day. Also, the plumbing isn’t great and my bathroom appliances seem to always take too long to drain. The gym is sub par... , and the noise from the treadmill is like nails on a chalkboard. Also, the pool area could be better and I don’t like the “residents only” rule for the pool and barbeque area. On a more positive note, I have no complaints about the surrounding area. It feels safe and relatively close to everything(gym, target, CVS, Walgreens, even the 405) All in all, on a scale from one to luxury apartment, I’d rate Palm Terrace as modest (4.7 on a number scale).

It feels safe and relatively close to everything (LA Fitness, CVS, Walgreens, Target, plenty of restaurants, and even the 405). All in all, on a scale from one to luxury apartment, I’d rate Palm Terrace as modest (4.7 on a number scale).

I love my apartment! It's very spacious. Wood floors in living room and nice carpet in the bedrooms. We're in a good location. Everything is within a mile. But, there is no washer/dryer in the unit and it didn't come with a fridge.
