The Brookwood Apartamentos

I lived in this complex for 3-4 years and would not recommend.
Buildings are old, originally built in the 1960's and 70's. Ownership has changed hands several times over the past several years and money has been invested in lots of external cosmetic updates. However, The inside of the buildings are still full of water damage from years of unfixed plumbing issues. They just pull the old "landlord special" and cover it with a coat of paint.
The larger of the two swimming pools (the one that... isn't visible from the leasing office) is rarely open in the summer because it is filled with green algae.
Staff in the leasing office is not very responsive to phone calls or emails. Maintenance staff will often "take a look" at a problem, but rarely care to fix anything. Lee mas

Best staff and always follows up & gets back with all details or concerns (especially Savannah) she goes beyond and we love the new updated decor and property

I never realized how important good management was when renting until now. They are always overcharging me. They gave me a weeks notice that I'd have to move in to another apartment due to renovations. These renovations have been going on for a year. This place is an absolute nightmare.

In my considered opinion, BAHs is the next best thing to living in your own home.

Overall, very satisfied. There have been a few glitches, but usually get resolved in a timely manner.
