Don NOT be fooled be the photos on their website or any other site that shows they are nice. They are outdated and the water is always being shut off. The walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Plus, guarantee you wont get your deposit back. Their office staff is always changing and they do not return calls like they say they will. You do not get what you pay for here.

Management gave me a squeaky clean post-moveout inspection after I spent days cleaning and spent $100 for a professional to deep clean after all the furniture was removed. Management kept all $500 of my security deposit and sent me to collections for another $100. When I asked for proof of the debt, the copy of the the move-out inspection had someone else's handwriting citing a strong urine smell, which was not mentioned or marked during the pre-moveout or post-moveout inspections. The assistant... manager, Alice, did the pre-moveout inspection herself, and the woman that did the post-moveout inspection said it was one of the cleanest units she'd ever seen.

Management allegedly spent over $350 to clean the carpets that I shampood every month with my water vacuum (#1 on Amazon), they repainted the entire apartment on my dime and charged me $80 to clean some cheap light fixture I must have missed. My dog (7 years old at the time, and perfectly house-trained) and I spent nearly 3 years at my last apartment and received nearly all of my deposit back. I only lived here for 8 months and was treated like I destroyed the place.

Neighbors are loud during after-hours, take your parking space and don't pick up after their dogs. The majority of the residents were young professionals and couples, but management allowed the handful of inconsiderate residents to ruin the entire complex. If this stuff doesn't bother you, you can get the same experience and pay much less elsewhere. If you need quiet neighbors at 2:00am on weeknights and don't want games played with your secuity deposit, avoid Summer Place and their parent company, GSF Properties. Lee mas
