It's not worth it.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Yes, they are beautiful but horribly managed. Read your lease contract and ask questions because they do not share information that they know will inconvenience you or cause you to not lease. Corporate information is safeguarded and not given out under any circumstances. They refer you to corporate but the number you get is to an answering service and not a live person. Their lease contracts do not reflect your carport or garage number so they will most likely NOT be in... proximity to your apartment. Mine is literally across a busy public city street. The neighbors in the community are cool but after a week and a half of living here and asking how they like it, ALL of them have the same line that "the management is bad here". When doing my move-in inspection dead gnats can still be found in the light fixtures and when I asked if they cleaned the appliances and lint traps Carla(Leasing Consultant) said yes and my response was "They missed it for this apartment". Water and Sewer backup coverage is also required on your renter's insurance to be clearly listed (what does that tell you about the place) most insurance carriers do not offer this because it typically isn't a renter's concern more so for homeowners. Artesa is one of Menifee's newest communities but could possibly be the worst managed. Other management companies have properties local to Artesa that are at capacity, have wait lists, and do not need to offer incentives to get renters to move in. Courtney(Manager) and Carla (Leasing Consultant) Listen to the residents and be on our side, not fight us. Veronica (Assistant Manager) and Makayla (Leasing Consultant) out of the 4 in there could be your best bet for someone to speak with in the office. Response from the owner is not needed, Actions speak louder.

Not worth it

I re-newed my lease and regret it. This is my second year and for the amount of money (for Menifee!!) is rediculous! Filthy and stained walkways and stairwells- over loaded - smelly garbage areas. Absolutely no communication from management! My daughters car was hit and although management was informed and employees witnessed it, they never called the police and yet, they call me at work, reporting what occurred and admitted they did nothing!!!
The post box was broken for a year and packages...
cannot get to the tenants! They didn't even send an emial to the occupants informing us!! My teenage daughter had to research at the post office what was happening!! And it still isn't fixed!! Veronica is completely rude- no empathy regarding anything and unprofessional!!
The maintenance team is amazing!!!
Bottom line - do not waste your money!! I would rather drive an extra hour and be in Oceanside for the same price!!!!

Not the cleanest and will not help.

We have been in the apartment one week and are already looking to move out due to cleanliness. The apartment had dog hair everywhere, dirt in the sinks, grunge in the showers, etc. I stated so on our move in inspection papers and also that it smelled like dog pee. We sent emails at 3am due to not being able to sleep from the horrendous smell. The complex had the carpet “recleaned” but it only made the smell worse. We have asked for alternative solutions but they have stated “On our end we have... done what we can and do not find any issues moving forward.”

The hallway leading up to our apartment smells of dog urine. The tenants all their dogs to pee anywhere.

The property is beautiful but Before moving here, I would ask to see your apartment before signing your lease to ensure you do not run into this same issue.

Worst management ever. Good reviews are from before MG Properties took over.

Spare yourself and move anywhere else! MG Properties only cares about collecting as much money as they can from tenants. This place was so much better before MG bought Artesa in October 2021. Management takes zero accountability and their corporate (?) / regional office is even worse.

Charged pet rent for a registered emotional support animal??

Management has been anything but great.. My partner and I are both in the military and are stationed away from each other. While he lived here, management charged him pet rent for an emotional support animal. They blamed it on the old management and said “we can’t refund you because the old management charged you and we’re not going to stop charging you because you’re so close to moving out”. Rent has gone up but living conditions have gone down. They’ll be quick to send out notices, but won’t... answer their phones. They’ll only act “concerned” on HERE when they’re getting a bad review.

The trash situation still has not been resolved.

The new maintainance repair people are super awesome and great, though! They replaced filters and changed the vents and multiple other things and were super friendly.
