Regarding the recent rent increase and the transition to a new utility billing methodology, these decisions are made after careful consideration of various factors, including the rising costs of property maintenance and utilities. The shift from flat-rate utility charges to a system based on occupancy and apartment square footage is designed to promote fairness and accuracy. This ensures that residents are billed more closely in line with their actual usage and apartment size, which is a common practice in many communities today.
