Disappointed
We moved from out of state & virtually toured over a dozen properties. Read reviews of Amli Rino, toured over FT (the sales pitch looking back was *chefs kiss)
“Only 65% occupancy, quiet neighborhood/safe, 1 month free, great floor plan/amenities, 1st parking spot is free & 2nd is only $100, they are an energy conscious community…”
The building. Great. The unit really nice. Our bathroom fan hasn’t worked since we arrived a month ago, but they were pretty responsive to that originally. Not a... huge deal.
There are homeless encampments everywhere. I can’t walk alone with my dog, or go for a run as I’ve been yelled at, spit at, followed several times. I can’t ride my bike down the river path next to the complex because they are so densely camped along the entrances.
Sirens every night. They shoot off fireworks? needles on the sidewalks, they wander onto property, have had 1 guy wander into the building due to someone propping the door open.
Amlis leasing offices response is, we can’t do anything, you can complain to the city. We’ll, they could be in the office during posted business hours for starters. Had to call the police because we couldn’t get ahold of them when we passed this guy coming off the elevator.
The ATTITUDE from that leasing office. They either hate their job or don’t know how to communicate because asking for a package shouldn’t be met with an attitude. Complaints or concerns shouldn’t be met with placating a resident. They also in the lease, & in the tour told us we get 1 free parking spot & can pay for 1 additional. What does, “1st spot free or additional vehicles” mean? That you can have more than 1. Nope.
“1 spot per unit” no additional parking onsite other than maybe 10 spots not on the street. We had to park over a mile away the other day to get parking I.
Unprofessional, unempathetic at a minimum and just poorly managed overall. Should have been transparent about the homelessness.
